Glen has over 25 years of audit and compliance management, information systems management, information technology audit, and teaching experience with two leading research universities/academic medical centers, a large five hospital/integrated healthcare delivery system, Fortune 100 companies, and a public accounting firm. His current position is Chief Audit & Compliance Officer for Scripps Health in San Diego where he holds the dual role of Chief Audit Executive and Corporate Compliance Officer for this $1.5 billion integrated health care system. Previously Glen has held the positions of VP Audit Services at UCSF-Stanford Health Care System, (1997-00), Chief Information Officer for Stanford University (1994-97); Director of Internal Audit at Stanford University and Medical Center (1992-94); and Director of Internal Audit at Cornell University and Medical Center (1985-92).
Glen has significant experience in defining and building nationally prominent audit and compliance functions; co-chaired the HCCA-AHIA Auditing & Monitoring Focus Group during 2005, and has served the Association of Healthcare Internal Auditors Board of Directors. Glen is a frequent speaker and workshop leader at Institute of Internal Audit and AHIA conferences and published two articles this past year in HCCA’s Compliance Today magazine. Glen holds B.S. and MBA degrees from Cornell University.
