Audrey Andrews Chief Compliance Officer Tenet Healthcare Corporation Audrey Andrews,was appointed Chief Compliance Officer of Tenet Healthcare Corporation in November 2006. Ms. Andrews is responsible for overseeing Tenet’s ethics and compliance programs and reports directly to the Quality, Compliance and Ethics Committee of Tenet’s Board of Directors. After new management took charge in 2003, Tenet significantly expanded its compliance and ethics function by creating a compliance department separate from its Law Department. Until her appointment as Chief Compliance Officer, Ms. Andrews served as Vice President and Assistant General Counsel for Tenet’s regulatory affairs. In that role, she served as the primary legal counsel to the Ethics and Compliance Department and worked closely with Tenet’s Chief Compliance Officer and Regional and Hospital Compliance Officers. She provided legal advice on a wide range of topics including Medicare reimbursement, quality of care, laboratory compliance and other regulatory issues. Ms. Andrews worked closely with Tenet’s Chief Compliance Officer to negotiate Tenet’s Corporate Integrity Agreement in late 2006. She joined Tenet in 1998 as a hospital operations counsel for Tenet’s hospitals located in Arkansas and Indiana. Andrews holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in government (1989) and a Juris Doctorate Degree from the University of Texas (1991). She is a member of the Healthcare Compliance Association and the Dallas, Texas and American Bar Associations and the American Health Lawyers Association. She serves on the Quality and the Legal and Operational Policy Committees of the Federation of American Hospitals. Ms. Andrews and her husband, Jerry, live in Coppell, Texas with their two children.
